TOTAL BEDLAM

Columbia 300’s new Total Bedlam is a very eye catching color combination. A very unique color combination that provides a portion of it to have a polished look while the surface remains sanded.

On the lanes…

I tested this bowling ball on the AMF HPL and the Brunswick anvil lane surface at the new Bowling IQ Training Facility located inside DiLaura Brothers Bowling Supply, LLC. This was tested on the Kegel Route 66 pattern. Being that these surfaces are farely different and Route 66 is supposed to be a moderately difficult shot, I was able to find a decent amount of room for error moving to the inside part playing a 10 board swing. The Brunswick lanes only gave me a board of room at the arrows while the AMF provided an area that was extremely difficult to miss. The new Total Bedlam is a ball that provides a consistent hook from start to finish. I found that the ball needs oil in order to continue its roll because when it does hit the dry, it moves! I found as long as you have the oil to get the ball down the lane, the carry when it hits the pocket is phenomenal. I would also recommend trying different surfaces, in my experience this ball has amazing potential for any surface.

In conclusion…

The Total Bedlam is the ball that everyone needs to start off on fresh oil. When the ball starts hooking to early and your movements are limited, the original Bedlam is a great piece to move to. Strokers and Tweeners will be able to use this ball on virtually all conditions except for the extremely dry. Crankers can use this ball for the first few games but I recommend avoiding its use when you start seeing a little dry.
